Yes, I believe so. Because you can't patent herbal remedies, there is no way to make HUGE PROFITS, like you can with pharmaceuticals. Also, there are less side effects to deal with when taking herbal remedies, so the big business Pharm's don't want to lose profits because everyone starts using garlic and rosemary to ease their problems, rather than penicillin and some other prescription drug. It all comes down to money, unfortunately.

That's an interesting idea. I think people are caught up on altered states of the mind and it worries those who aren't. That's what it's really about.
