I don't need the home network password prompt during startup. Can I turn this off somehow? I am using Windows ME.

On WinME I think you're referring to the primary network logon. Right click "My Network Places" and select "Propeerties" and on the dialog box that pops up, select "Windows Logon" for the Primary Network Logon, instead of "Client for Microsoft Networks" for example. If that's not what you're after (sorry) please clarify and I'll re-answer. I believe you'll have to reboot after such a change as well.
