I am 5w6d pregnant and I think I went through a miscarriage yesterday. I had really sharp pain in the center of my abdomen accompanied with some bleeding. I also had extreme nausea, and was very hot. As of this morning, the pain has subsided (not even needing meds) and my bleeding is light with no cramping. I am confused because I didn't bleed THAT much and didn't even pass any blood clots. Did I miscarry or was it something else????

Has anyone gone through something similar? I am curious to ya'lls responses...please.

First of all...you need to consult with your doctor. What you are describing does sound like a miscarriage and for that, my heart goes out to you. I had a miscarriage last december of triplets at 15 weeks. I didn't have any cramping at all, just some light spotting. I ended up having a D7C though because my babies had stopped developing at around 8-10 weeks but my body was not rejecting the pregnancy. Also, a miscarriage with one fetus is messy enough..it would have been three times as bad with multiples.
I wish you luck and just try to relax and take care of yourself.
Oh, and if you are wanting to concieve again soon, continue to take your prenantal vitamins and remember that alot of pregnancies end in miscarriage, but it does not mean that you can't have a perfectly healthy pregnancy next time! I am 31 weeks with one very healthy baby girl!

Well, I have had a miscarriage and I passed a lot of stuff. I think you should go to the doctor ASAP and get checked out to make sure you did not. I had tons of blood clots and a yellowish thing ( that was the baby).

Good Luck

Bleeding accompanied by cramping is never a good sign in pregnancy. Even if this is not a miscarriage, it is important that you see your doctor right away. If by chance you didn't miscarry, there may be somethign wrong with your baby.

If you did miscarry, your doctor has to check that also to make sure that your body adjusts. Either way, like I said... bleeding with cramping is never a good sign. Please see your doctor ASAP.

Did you have sex yesterday? Sex can make you bleed and cramp a little in early pregnancy. I had the same scare and went to the dr. They gave me an u/s and all is well to this day. Good luck. Report any blood to your OB/Gyn!

You need to go to the Doctor. If you take a home test, you run the risk of getting a false pos.
Good Luck

buy a pregnancy test TODAY and take the test tomorrow morning and see if it turns out possitive or negative. If it turns out negative, then you miscarried.
