We have just arrived back from a weekend caravaning trip to stratford upon avon, with another couple, they are wonderful people but suffer from flatulence, how do we tell them they stink without offending them?

Many people who have this "problem" view it as a normal body function and think nothing of it. The next time you go out with them, you could eat something like beans and see how they react. You could in a gentlemanly demeanor get the husband on the side and ask if they are not feeling well?
Years ago, a friend of mine went out with a young lady who had this problem. He would light up a cigarette which she hated. When she said something to him, he told her if she would stop far*ing in public, he would stop smoking.

im sure they are aware of this problem and some people think its funny. im sure they know they stink. just make sure u take a nice smelling air freshener with you next time and say politely that smell offends me

Tell them that sometimes, they cut the cheese, but tell them that when they feel some bubbles coming up, go in the bathroom and let it rip.

make a joke of it and poke fun at them... theyll get the hint and its true what they say "many a true word is said in gest"

give them ginger. pickle or in food. its very very effective for flatulence

it is a natural thing they are doing everyone does it,just ask them polietly if they could break wind in another room please the toilet is the place for that in our flat!
