Toss up between the Street Fighter Alpha series and the Dead or Alive series.
I enjoy a classic 2d fighter but the Alpha series gave it alittle twist with super combos and what nots, also a counter man that was fun.
Dead or Alive was great becuse its graphics........she kicks high......and the counter system it had although in DOA3 the boss battle is a B*tch.
