Just plugin your TV cable that came to you from nearby cabel company or your dish antenna and it should work. Call HP and they will tell where to plugin and then how to use it. You don't need to connect TV there.

Depending the card your HP came with, you should be able to hook up an LCD with HD or HD+.
There not hard to configure, the card shouls have a in cable outlet and the digital TV hook up, adapter are not nessessary and your sound system will accomadate a surround sound system, the driver are there for just normal speakers, but the surround systems are not expensive, there are usually 3 hookup for the front, rear and sub woofer plugs.
