I already had a bad view of Britain so it doesn't matter. Much love to the Irish and Scots.

The answers on Yahoo have been interesting, annoying, surprising and humorous in varied ways and at different levels. Sometimes when I think we have sunk to the lowest level of decency and intelligence I get a surprise. The opposite is true also, there are some really lovely people out there and my faith in human nature is restored. I can't say that my view on the US has changed at all. I must admit, I am not a lover of the ways americans behave abroad and I have found nothing here to change my mind.

Neither really. I think there is a tendency for people in the UK to view American people as quite ignorant right wingers, married to someone who is probably a little too closely related. That said, I know several American people through work and they are very tolerant, liberal minded people with no interest whatsoever in world domination.

Don't be too quick to judge people based upon a few words on a website where people are anonymous anyway.

No, but it has reinforced my concern over the rapid secularization of Britain and the overusage of "political correctness". I can't get away with half of what I say in the US section in the UK section. Someone's always offended over something minute and silly. I'm a Christian and they'll often portray me and other Christians as bigots in the UK section.
It's a sign of the times, I suppose. Christianity is a dying breed in Europe.
