1. Yes I have a cv, and an online cv too.
2. Yes I did have it professionally done, but it has changed an awful lot since then.
3. Not unless I could see a vast improvement on what i already had.
4. Cost of the previous one was between £30 and £50, but it made me out to be a prim ad proper sunday school teacher when in fact I am a mean and moody superprogrammer. I spent 6 months taking out stuff 'good team player'....etc and rephrasing it to more properly reflect the truth. Could be that's why I am still out of work.
A lot of what is on the cv is just facts but the thing that brings it alive is going to be the inimical details of the personality. It would be very difficult to capture the spirit of a person on a professionally (and probably mass-produced or pro forma) cv. If you manage it, let me know. I can do it, but its never tactful.

1) Yes
2) No
3) A total waste of money, as there is no right way to create one, they should reflect your own unique personality and skills. A CV is generally good if it is unique that stands out from the rest. Imagine how many employer have to look through. They have one glance and thats it. No company is going to be able to make every one thy create unique. Its a trial and error process when trying to make a special CV.
4) £30 $40
Hope this helps...

Yes I have a c.v.
I haven't ever considered getting one done as I like to do it myself but I cant see why people that are not sure they could do a good one would not want to get it done professionally.
I probably wouldn't consider it as I am happy with the one I have.
I would probably expect to pay £10 to £20.
