The ending in general is very climactic, and I suppose it could be called the best part. It's a very good-prevails-over-evil scene.

It wasn't a book.. it was a short story, usually included in anthologies.

the best part was when rainsford won, using zanoff's own stratagies against him. rainsford did anything that he could to survive, which i think is how us humans live, because it's a dog eat dog world.
