i do not recommend it unless you want to take lots of advanced math classes in high school

i started to take algebra 1 in 8th grade, but it was too hars, so i dropped back to pre-algebra

in 9th grade, my algebra class was easier because i had learned more and was in a regular class

you could drop back, or stay in it, it drop it. UNLESS, you want to take calculus or trigiometry in high school

A class being hard isn't a bad thing. You will never experience the pride of having mastered something unless you first struggle with it. Learning algebra in 8th grade isn't impossible; I did it, and math is far from being my strongest subject. You just need to buckle down a bit and put in more effort, if you are finding it hard. You might form a study group with some of your classmates as well. Also, don't let things slide past you which you don't fully understand, because everything in math builds on everything else, and if you miss a basic concept, it makes it that much harder to learn the next one. If you don't understand, speak up right away, or talk to the teacher after class if you are too shy (but I'll bet others are having similar problems and would appreciate someone asking for more explanation). Good luck! The world needs more people with good math skills.

Actually, there's nothing wrong with learning Algebra 1 in 8th grade. Because if you really want to know your suppose to. Algebra 1 isn't really hard unless you have a bad teacher.

Don't back away from a challenge just because it is hard! Ask your teacher for extra help, or form a study group with some of your classmates (actually you should do both). If you learn how to tackle hard material now, high school and college won't seem so bad!

If your teacher "insists on learning algebra 1", then teach her!
How did she get to be a teacher without it?

you regularly initiate taking algebra a million in 8th grade if your taking the customary instructions. if your in the decrease classes probably ninth and while you're in better classes probably seventh yet if you consider that your in seventh then that probably isnt the case. i think that's going to be something like 7x=21 what's x?, on the beginning up, tremendously basic. dont issue youll do effective.

If you're in an advanced class, if it's really, really hard, ask to be placed in the regular class. If you're not in an advanced class, just try your best. Ask questions in class when you don't get something (Trust me, it can make a world of difference!) and study for tests the day you know about them. Also, do your homework right when you get home so that you have time to check your answers later. Checking your answers can also make a world of difference!

Learn it.

Somehow people thiink that algebra and mathematics are not needed in life.

I disagree, no matter what you do, you come across problems to solve. Algebra gives you a method to solve them, and more importantly, teaches you how to think and learn.
