Ive typed this into Google & got a forum board concerning this.Someones enquiring as to wether or not this is a Spyware or Malware?

Viewpoint media player is often included by many OEMs;if it isn't deemed spyware, it is considered a nuisance by many as it collects user information and sends it to viewpoint servers. Me? I got rid of it.

i yahoo!'d the program name and it directed me to www.viewpoint.com, the program seems to be a normal media player, an alternative to windows media player. if still not sure, download "spybot" and "spyware blaster", both free. spybot will scan your system for spyware, adware and pups (potentially unwanted programs) and spyware blaster will prevent spyware being installed on your system.
