I don't know about other countries, but here in South Africa this is definitely the case. If a criminal attacks an innocent person you have no right to defend yourself. We've had even a housebreaking case where the intruder hurt himself when entering through the window and he sued the house owner for bodily harm! In another case a 82 year old woman's gun was stolen. When found back the police wouldn't give it back to her because they thought she migtht actually shoot if her life was in danger.. She was brutally raped and murdered two weeks later.

Read the American Rifleman. There is an article called The Armed Citizen every issue. Also, the New American Magazine has an article called Exercising the Right. These magazines both give examples every issue of a firearm defending a law abiding citizen, or preventing a crime. According to the FBI, a firearm prevents a criminal act over a million times a year. The media will not report these incidents because they are in opposition to the anti-Second Amendment propaganda. When you understand that mainstream media is just propaganda for the New World Order, you stop watching it.

be very careful when you say criminals are better protected, as you may be one tomorrow, and don't try to act holier than tho, when the static tics show almost 50% of the so called convicts are not guilty of the crimes that they are in prison for , so think how many of the over 100, 000 laws did yo break to day?for example, a federal tax examiner was on talk radio several months ago and made the statement that any one who filed taxes could be charged with tax evasion or some other federal crime, that the laws were implemented for that very reason,
If you don't file they can also charge you with failure to file a tax return.so there is no way to win or protect yourself, prisons are very profitable business for the ones who are judges, lawyers, guards, or like the Bushes who own the products sold in most prisons at a inflated price in most cases double and sometimes triple the street price, the telephone for instance cost some times as much as 65 cents per minute and they do not allow phone cards etc, only their phones are allowed, the prison Industry's are owned by judges, F,B,I, agents prosecutors, etc, therefore they have incentives to keep the prisons full and don't ever believe prisoners have any rights period, you will hear of one prisoner who in most cases get some thing ridiculous ,
but, this is for propaganda purposes, what about the thousands who get a royal screwing,

To my mind criminals should have no rights except the right to a fair trial and basic human needs. I believe in zero tolerance. I am sick of criminals such as murderers and paedophiles being released early and recommitting similar offences. When someone is given life they should serve life.If they are sentenced to 10 years they should serve 10 years. I had to work in some prisons some time ago. They have 3 meals a day, television, access to books and computers and in one open prison there was a fantastic gym, swimming pool and a golf course. Some of the inmates did not want to be released. One of the worst areas is hit and run drivers and drivers convicted of dangerous driving. They get a relatively short sentence if they are sent to prison at all whereas the victims could either be dead or maimed for life. No one screams for human rights for them and their families but they are always looking to assist the perpetrators of the crimes. The Human Rights Act should be abolished. We have gone soft because of all of the do gooders. Lets get things into perspective and ensure the ordinary law abiding citizen is looked after.

I know it must feel like that to many but we need to remember that protecting the rights of "criminals" also covers the protection of the rights of the innocent charged in a crime. And if criminals lose rights, you also would if falsely accused of a crime. You might think that's terribly unlikely but is important to consider. As rights are taken away from "terrorists", they would certainly be taken away from US citizens falsely accused.

Yes, that is why police, secret service, fbi & cia seem to be more in line with the way the nazis slowley took over Germany. Remember that didn't happen overnight, & when it did happen there wasn't much the citizens could do about it. Slowly but surely your individual freedoms will erode, as it is doing now under the guize of protecting you.

Yes of course. Anyone who believes otherwise hasn't been paying attention. I don't think their is one millionaire or richeer that isn't a criminal in some part of their life and they hire lawyers who are criminals themselves to protect them.
