The older you get the harder it is to break into the business. I think you still have a good chance. I'm just trying to figure out why you are 25 years old, and your father is still controlling your life. I understand and admire he respect, but he needs to learn that you are a grown woman fully capable of making your own life choices. Good luck with whatever happens.

Of course you can, but unfortunately, your career would be pretty short.
And what do you mean your dad doesn't allow it? You're an adult for God's sake. More than that, you're 25 years old. At this age, you go beyond the status of an adult. You should be able to take decisions without needing approval from your parents. It's one thing to be strongly connected to your family and consider their advice, it's another thing to let them rule your life.
As far as I know, the age limit for modelling is around 30, but it depends greatly on your physical appearance. As long as you're in good shape there's nothing to worry about. They would even allow a 50 year old woman to be a model if she'd look like a 20 year old, so age makes no difference as long as you don't show it.
My advice is to stop depending on your family. Keep them close to you, but don't allow them to affect you so much. Go out there and enjoy your life, let your ideals and preferences have some freedom. You can't know when you'll get another chance. Good luck.

Hey there is no real age limit for modelling, you can model if ure 5,25,or 55....you are old enough to make ure own choices and follow ure dreams,if modelling is ure passion then go and do it or you will regret it later on. You're dad is wrong to stop you doing what you want to do and i hope you don't live the rest of ure life doing whatever ure dad tells you or you will lose out and anyway you're dad can't stop you doing anything....

If you mean as a professinal model in New York City, I think there is an early age-cut off for prospective new models. You may be able to model in your city if they have any legitimate modeling agencies.
