I HAD the same problem. My old friend always wanted to be around me and with me and it got on my nerves. So, i know you might hate this, i just sat her down and told her. We are still friends and all but not awhole lot. She actually now has a friend just like her so I told "Just picture it like you where the annoying one, what would you want me to say?" And well... you get the story.

Hi! I have been such a friend in the past and I have been tempted to be the same thing again.

Well, I realized that my friends didn't enjoy to spend time with me anymore and the reason was for the constant "spyness".

You should tell your friend to stop calling and talking that much. From my point of view he/she wants to share everything with you (all his/her thoughts, feelings, problems, daily situations, imagination, etc.). Just don't stop loving him/her, but tell him/her to take it easy.

I would start making up excuses why I had to get off the phone. Hopefully if you keep telling her you have to go she will get the point and not call so much. If that doesn't work, you should just tell her that you don't much like to talk on the phone.

Don't let the person be a bully with you, but be gentle, be kind-hearted and try to be understanding. This person is hurting, but isn't able to tell you what the REAL problem is. Find a time when you can talk in private to this person to try to find out what the REAL problem is and gently explain your feelings to her, too. Don't let your integrity be compromised.

Use caller ID and refuse to answer the phone. You may just have to tell this person to stop calling.

Learn to draw healthy boundaries with them. You'll need to be direct, and they might take offense, but it's the only way to get your space back. The'll eventually find someone else to drive crazy.

End the call when I felt like it, rather than when she stopped talking. You're in charge of how long you listen.

i would be honest with that person, because if your not then you will be annoyed and that person may get hurt because they think you really like them. BE HONEST!!!
