Well it's stupid basically. I'm racist. I said I wanted to have a wife and kids who have the same race and culture as me and not a foreign culture/race, and this is bad according to some people. Obviously this means I'm a Klan member.
I think the word 'racism' is thrown around way too much. You can get called racist for anything. If you don't like someone and they hapen to be of another race, then you're racist. What about if you just don't like that person because he/she was rude to you, insulted your beliefs, etc?

Ditto on all the above. But everyone needs to feel superior, and race is just another way ppl do it. It incenses me, but I actually feel sorry for some racists now and am amused by others. The pendulum always swings in the other direction at some point anyway.

A lot of behavior attributed to racism isn't really racist. The definition is the thought that one race is superior or inferior to others. Racism is every common among all races. When it was out in the open it was easier to identify. Now people hide it more .I would rather know how someone felt about me.

well that would depend on what part of racism. i believe that violence or hatred toward any one person because of their color is very wrong. there are good people in every race. there is also trash in every race. i believe that BET, black miss america, black class reunions, and everything else strictly black or strictly any other color is wrong. all cultures are proud of their own specific heritage. i will admit that i made sure i had white kids, also my daughter knew that i wanted white grandkids. after she had 2 kids she tried to see just how far she could push me by dating a really nice black man. i got my white grandkids, i dont care who she dates. whatever makes her happy. i do feel sorry for any children who are the result of a mixed relationship. i have friends of mixed races and they tell me they were not accepted by any race in school. we should all be proud of our own race and heritage, and be allowed to state that we are proud of it without it being considered racism. as long as there are different colors of skin and diverse cultures there will continue to be racism.

Racism is THE worst human trait ever. It is filled with hate, and narrow minds of insecure people.

it disgusts me how someone can be so unintelligent and pathetic, to put someone down for a race. If i am going to dislike somebody, i dislike them for who they are and what they may have done, not because of their skin. I treat white black chinese, whatever race equally, and i dislike some of each race, not because of their race, but because of who they are and how they act.

its a dis-ease of the human condition. it's inbreed into each culture and hard as hell to change, but if we all just keep trying maybe one day we'll remember we're all from one source. mitaku oyasin
