well, don't hold back. Give him a call and tell him you love him no matter what, just to set aside your fear or negative thoughts. He's still your father after all.

I'm sure he just really needs his own time to cool down. Do your parents fight often? If so then it's a good thing when he goes off and has some alone time to think everything over. Whatever you do, don't feel like this is something you've caused. I'm sure you know that already but always remember it. If you'd like to try to call him, go for it. It might cheer him up to hear from his baby girl. Tell him you miss him and you know he's got to have some time to cool off, but you'd like to talk to him about what went on and how it affects you. Let him know you'll always love him no matter what - he needs comfort most right now, and it'd be the best to have from his daughter.

Sometimes when adults fight, the only way to cool down is to get out of the situation for a couple of hours. Then they can talk reasonably with each other again. Their fight had nothing to do with you and they both love you. If Dad does not materialized after awhile, ask your Mom if you can call him and just tell him you miss him.

Call your Dad. Tell him you love him and just because he is fighting with your Mom; it has nothing to do with your love for him. I am sure he will be happy to hear from you. Your Dad must be feeling bad right now and you can cheer him.

Be patient, give your father time to cool off. Whatever is happening, it's between your parents and needs to stay that way. I know it's hard, but stay out of it.

Call him just to let him know you care. Don't take sides or get in the middle.

Maybe just text him and let him know you love him and that you are looking forward to when he comes back. It's a low pressure way to let him know how you feel.
