k. She is a 14 year old girl. She buys all her cloths from yard sales, never from stores. She is really cheap. Everything is about money with her. She never lends any of her friends money, not even a quarter! She expects her friends to pay for her and also expects her friends to give her cloths! She talks behind my back all the time. One time i confronted her and she says she goes with the flow and never sticks up for me! When we get into fights, she doesnt speak much and usually curls up in a corner and crys. A couple minutes later she is fine with everything like nothing happened. She cannot be left alone anywhere like the mall by herself. I cannot avoid her because shes my neighbor. What do you think? Is she a friend?

It sounds like she has more issues than you realize. If she's buying her clothes from yard sales, perhaps it's because she can't afford the retail price. Perhaps she doesn't lend money because in the past some have not paid her back. Maybe she is poor.
However, in expecting her friends to give her clothes isn't right either.
If she's talking behind your back, that's does not sound like a friend.
She sounds very emotional. Maybe she needs counseling.

Friends lending each other money has ended many friendships. Where her clothes come from isn't really a concern of yours and at 14 her parents probably make that decision. She may actually have no money for herself. It sounds like she lives the life of someone who actually has very little which is beyond her control. In any case for her to expect others to provide her with clothes or money is wrong and is an example of the welfare mentality growing today.

i think you need to find the root cause to her unusual behavior... if you really want to be her friend. talk to her and tell her what she does and how it feels to you & your other friends.
i understand she may not have money to lend...
She expects her friends to pay for her and also expects her friends to give her cloths- but that takes it a little far.

how long have you known her? or how much do you know about her?
maybe she got issues.. maybe her life isn't normal or perfect as yours is... but try to understand her and just talk to her. and i mean make her open up to you. ask her if everything's okey or if she's okey.
