Depends on what is 'worth it' to each individual. What are you here for?

Any question (no matter how obscure or tentative) is worth pondering, and the worth (for me) is about what I've learned from the experience.

What have I learned from stating my perspective to this question? I've learned that there are people out there that often have motivations that I cannot decipher. My curiosity is also peaked as to what kind of answers you'll get. ~ Andrea

Everyone states 2 points, 10 points... I actually care nothing about points, to me when I answer a question, I'm not going to answer it unless I can actually see myself getting the best answer. Again, not because of the points, but because I do not want to mislead someone... Yes, sometimes I do political answers that have no real "right answer" but I don't mind voicing my opinion... When I first came to Yahoo! Answers I just wanted a lot of points making my best answer percentage low, but for the past few months I've realized this is quite pointless (no pun intended) so... I don't want to answer a question unless I have an intent on making the questioner learn something new on the subject and in turn pick my answer.

Absolutely worth 2 points, unless you like my answer the best, then it will be worth 10 points. But I don't think you'll like mine best, cuz too many other people have already answered. But I really wanted to give that answer. OK?

it's totally worth while to answer this question---beside the fact I'm 2 points closer to 259 so I can start rating answers I could possibly get the best answer nod and be 10 points closer to my 259 goal. Thanks for posting a question I want/could answer!

Sucky part is I want to ask a question today but I didn't realize it was negative points so I have to wait until I reach 264 + so I can ask my question.....
