Miami is better and here are five reasons why;
1. Better Weather and No Snow.
2. More Entertainment available and Miami has a nightlife.
3. Miami is a World Class City where you meet people from all over the world.
4. Miami is growing and has grown 6.6% since the 2000 Census while Detroit is on the decline and has been shrinking since the 2000 Census by 6.8%.
5. The Crime Rate is lower in Miami than it is in Detroit which has the highest Crime Rate in the state of Michigan.

Well I live in South Florida, and all I can say is that South Beach is very beautiful, but Miami as a whole is like a third world country. You pretty much have to know 3 different languages to get around down there. Majority of Miami is also very run down and dirty. But I can't vouch for Detroit seeing as how I have never been there.

Miami by far, more interesting people, weather is beautiful, it's clean there, close to beaches. Detroit is still the midwest.

well I love Detroit, but miami is certainly warmer and prettier.

hmmm.....tough one....miami has the hot latin mamiz, and detroit has the fat afro-am babies motherz....Miami has great weather, and we have suck azz winter 6 mos out of the year...hmmm let me get back to you on that
