Ok...well I'm going to a concert to see AFI,MCR,& TBS.
The concert doesn't start til 5pm.....but i want to meet the bands especially AFI...soooo I am planning on getting to the Venue at like 8am...Do u think i'll be able to see and meet them...cause I went to the Black Clouds and underdogs Tour...and my friend got to the Venue at 12noon and she met Pete Wentz and took pic and stuff...and I didn't cause I didn't get there til 4pm....yeah sooo has anyone done this? did u meet ur fave band? If i do, do this do u think i'll really meet DAVEY...and all the other performers?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it's not likely. I'm a proud member of THE DESPAIR FACTION and that is the only way I get to meet AFI. I met the guys at the album release in Hollywood in June and then again a couple days later at Rhino Records in Claremont. I also got picked to be interviewed for their upcoming DVD that was filmed at their Long Beach show. That will be released next month & hopefully I made the cut. All these things are great and all but only possible through the [DF]. Usually but not always they have a raffle where only [DF] members can enter for a greet & meet before the show, you can take photos with them, get your pictures, shirts, albums, cd's & just about anything signed by them. It 's awesome. I'm not sure that getting to the show before hand would improve your chances. Since sometimes I would get there early as well, but would not be admitted in to meet them. You might get a glance up-close of them walking somewhere but that just might be it. Sorry.

Probably not. Many of the bigger bands don't get to the arena until a few hours before the show, especially if they're on a nation wide tour. A better chance to get to meet them is to show up to a smaller venue. I met TBS last year at a little club in Atlanta because it was really small so after the show, they came out front to meet people. It's worth giving a go if you've got nothing better to do but if that doesn't work, try to jump the fence/get behind the stage during the concert. I did that three years ago to meet Blink 182 and it was possibly the funnest thing I've ever gone in my life. Whatever you do, don't give up!

if you do i am jelous, i LOVE davey. where is this concert?
i saw afi at the warped tour and they werent doing signings but they did have a signing date set up for the next day in a different city at a mall which i couldnt be there for. So i know they do stuff like that it just depends what the plan is.

well,I know how you feel..
I love AFI,best band in the universe tbh..
In all honesty I don't think you'll get to meet DXH,
They don't tend to leave the venue before the show too often..
But I'm not cruel enough to drown your hopes,
So I'll say it still is possible.
Maybe you should join the DF(Despair Faction)
You can meet them through that..

you get like a 50/50 chance on meeting them early!!! I went to the all american rejects concert and i met them an early start!!! I can't belive ur friend met Pete!!! I'm jelous!!! did she met Patrick!!! Luv him!!!

Not much of a chance before, better chance after.
Your friend couldnt have gotten in that early unless they were an overcast kid (I am) and in that case she gets a meet and greet
