I would try asking around local places. Before I was 18 I worked as a filer/secretary at a doctor's office, at the local golf course as a snack cart girl, and hostessing at a restaurant. Chain places will generally pay you very little money (min. wage or just above) but local places will usually take a little pity on you since they don't have so many employees and you'll get a better rate of pay.

Also, ask your parents to ask around for you. My mom got my job at the doctor's office, which paid $8 an hour and I made my own hours, plus a $100 bonus at Christmas ;)

Good luck!

Usually stores like American Eagle and Abercrombie hire 18 and up. That might just be in my area though. For most jobs the legal age will be 16. But I'm sure you can find somewhere.

I think you have to be 16 to work legally but I'm not quite sure. Baby or pet sitting, mowing your neighbor's lawn, delivering newspaper, are a few of the things you can do in the meantime.

i've got continuously theory that working "inventory" at a keep could be appropriate. i grew to become into thinking concerning a similar situation, and that i've got those problems too. that's a appropriate deal better than being a cashier.
