I have got an outdoor light sensor (synapse 5056). It has got three dials underneath it.

Where can I find a manual that tells me which dial does what?
I guess one is for whether it is dark: one is how long the light stays on ; and, one is for how sensitive the trigger is.

Any Pointers out there :)

The three adjustment wheels are difficult to see. Try to shine a torch on the underside and set them by trial and error. One is for lux or sensitivity to light (sun) one is the time the light stays on (clock) and the third is usually range, distance or sensitivity (hash or some other sign). There are also plus and minus signs to increase or decrease sensitivity to each.

You have guessed correctly, the symbols should be a SUN, a CLOCK, and another?? in the order of your question. You may have to experiment a bit to find the right balance of settings.

I'm being serious. Have you tried to down load a manual from synapse.com?
