i was in a relationship that didn't work out two years ago but I know I will never love anyone this much. so if we look at situations like these from a broader perspective, how can you continue to love somone this much, even in the future as you get to know someone better you never love them as passionately.

thanx

I don't think it's possible to ever love two people the same. With different relationships, there is a different love involved.

Usually people who do this are not still in love with the real person, they are in love with a feeling and a period of time that once existed. That special time when everything was perfect and you both knew that you were meant for each other.

They are in love with the fantasy, not the reality that broke them up in the first place. And of course you will never love anyone that much because no human being can live up to a person's fantasies, even an ex.

As long as you are in love with this fantasy, you can't find anyone new. Nobody else can measure up to something that isn't even real.

Its gonna take time for your wounds to heal. But when the right guy comes along and sweeps you off of your feet you will know it, and trust me you will love again much more than you did with this guy. You will realize stuff that you didnt while you were with the first guy. I know you are prob thinking but i really dont think i could ever love someone like this. But sweetie you will, It may not be soon, but dont let that bother you. The more you talk to other guys and get to know them the less you will think about your ex. Best wishes sweetie

thats because, you haven't meant anyone "better" persay , just a little different. The reason you feel this way, is basically because you still love the guy. Thats the truth. Accept it, and move on.

I think you might need to give it some time meet someone new. I think you can always be in love with someone from your past .but it may always be a dream that you were in love with.
