During a waking period of sleep, I have sometimes have felt as though I am being stretched out of body. This has only happened a few times in my life. However, it is such an unusual feeling, I have strong remembrance of the occurrences. I am interested to know how many others have had these, and I am interested in your thoughts as to the basis for the event. Thanks.

I believe in past lives. What we think of as "out of body" is actually the sensation of your true "self", the soul, being stretched out of this life toward another. Please don't worry. You won't blip out or disappear. Lol. But you will feel that wonderful eternal part of you that has lived before and will go on growing in wisdom through the ages to come.

I have only once induced an OOB experience. I took a while because you must completely relax your body and mind. This happens to a lot of people when they are sleeping, they just don't realize it. Sometimes a good sign of it is when you have dreams of flying around. The OOB is just that, your soul leaving your physical body, kinda taking a break from it.

I have had the out of body experience a number of times, and it was caused by extreme traumatic injury, plus the long and painful recovery from the event.
