Waking the Dead is just about the biggest cryfest. Billy Crudup at the very beginning is crying his eyes out because his girlfriend (Jennifer Connelly) has just been killed in a car explosion. He's watching the news, sees a picture of her on the TV, and sitting on top of the TV is the same exact picture. The movie is a series of flashbacks to before she died and now he's being haunted by her, or is she still alive? Wonderful movie, Billy Crudup is the king of actors crying on cue.

White Oleander was the last sad movie I saw and I balled my eyes out. But I could relate with the mother daughter relationship that it was about. Moulin Rouge was so sad at the end. I cried so hard the first time I saw it.

By far, "Grave of the Fireflies." It's an anime movie, but believe me when I say most people I know who saw it were in tears during this movie. Other honorable mentions...
- "The Color Purple"
- "Steel Magnolias"
- "John Q"
- "The Green Mile"
