a cleaning strike is in order. just pick up your stuff and either leave his where it sits, or pile it all up in an inconvenient place for him....like that front door, his side of the bed, in the garage, whatever. i get so sick of picking up everything around here too. good luck. and how long does one have to deal with a husbands laziness before leaving him??

Throw all his crap in a big box in the garage. Good luck, it's hard to change a slob.

AMEN, SISTA!
I must live with his brother. I thought about going on house cleaning strike too, but figured I would be the only one that couldn't stand it. Try beating him with a baseball bat.....j/k.

He has to want to do it. That's just not going to happen unless he decides to change. If you dump everything on his bed he'll likely just find another place to sleep. You'll end up cleaning it.

If you allowed this behavior from the beginning, it's a little late now to start bellyaching.
Translation: it's your own fault.
