The "Pyscho" scene can't be beat, but I thought the plot and scene were very good in the Michael Douglas movie "The Perfect Murder" when he plans to have his wife murdered. (Poor Michael sure has a problem with women!!)

This is a classic!! In the movie, "Dressed to kill" starring Michael Caine, Angie Dickinson and Nancy Allen, the beginning scene, where Angie forgot her wedding ring in this guy's hotel room and goes back on the elevator to get it. As she gets in, in the corner in the ceiling mirror, you see the shininess of a switchblade abnd a woman holding it with blond hair. As the door closes, you know Angie is about to meet her fate. Then the door opens up and Nancy Allen finds her murdered body lying there in the door and the elevator door keeps going back and forth, hitting her hand and then opening back up while Nancy stands there and screams! Scary and shocking!

I think that the murder scene in saw 3 when the woman had to get a key and unlock this thing that was attached to her ribs. It was so nasty because when she was about to open it , the thing had bust wide open and took out her ribs.

i ought to say the scene in nightmare on elm highway a million,at the same time as freddy kills nancy's(lead personality)pal interior the starting up of the action picture interior the sleepover scene and he or she is going up the walls and on the ceiling,at the same time as blood is going everywhere,and freddy slashes her to demise,byt she is dreaming and noone can see what's really taking position. that action picture scared me so undesirable,i did not sleep for 3 days.tremendous action picture,the proper interior the sequence.

I'd have to say Drew Barrymore's death in the first Scream movie. It was so shocking and it was a little weird to see Drew get killed off the way she did.

ohh theres so many. hmm..i like surprises. when you think for sure someone is going to live, but then they die.
the most gruesome ones are the ones that actually show everything. i love when they slit throats really deep. or when they just do it for passion, and start hacking/hitting.
horror movies/books are tha best
