Congratulations!

The test detects HCG - human chorionic gonadotropin - the pregnancy hormone. So if you had 2 positive tests, you are pregnant. Call your OB to schedule your first prenatal appointment so you and baby can get the best care.

Two tests?! Positive?! Most definitely you are! And I didn't get sick until weeks after I found out...hopefully you will not endure this part of pregnancy. It is the worst but a good sign that your body is working and doing the right thing!!! The sicker you are the more hormones in your body retaining the pregnancy. Congrats!!

yes you are pregnant. congratulations.

not everyone feels sick and you are very early (just 5 weeks if you are 6 days late which means that you probably only conceived about 3 weeks ago!)

pregnancy tests can have false positives (manufactoring errors) but they are very very rare.two tests will be right. (false negatives are more common)

enjoy the feeling, be happy, eat sensibly, don't smoke or drink alcohol and make sure you are taking folic acid supplements (important up to 12 weeks).

Book an appointment to see your doctor this week and let them know. They will refer you to a hospital for 12 and 20 weks scans and for antenatal care :)

Yes, those things are almost fail-proof these days...any shade of a second line is a positive...6 days after your missed period is as accurate as a HPT would get. Congrats! Make your doc appt and go to Walgreens and pick up a prenatal vitamin.

There isnt really a chance of a false positive. You have HCG levels that can be detected by an HPT. That means you are pregnant. Congrats and good luck on the baby.

Yes you can get false negatives( If HCG levels not high enough to register) with these test but very rarely do you get false positive go to your doctor to get it confirmed.
I did not have any morning sickness with first pregnacy and late onset of nausea with second I am pregnant now seven weeks and feel sick every now and then but thats all every one different.

The test more than likely is accurate. Pregnancy symptoms usually doesn't come until a month or so later.

Congratulations!

without a doubt you are preggers, its very unlikely a test will show positive when it aint.
not everyone feels sick at this stage as you are only 5 weeks pregnant, i only started getting morning sickness last week and i am 8 weeks pregnant.
congrats
