Yes, wiccians have witches however they are much different from the type of witches that are portrayed by today's mass media. The image of the witch has become very misconstrewed over time and has been connected with a negative stigma. Wicca is a pagon religion . A good place to read about it is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wicca.

I think some people probably believe they are vampires but the whole phenomenon of vampires could never be true. If you think about the common legend, a vampire needs to drink blood once a month and turns his victim into a vampire as well, at that rate, everyone in the country would be a vampire after two years!

Of course there are witches. The PC (and I hate it) word is now "wiccan", but witches are witches. Most have some kind of power - either over their appearance (or lack thereof if they care to stay in the shadows) or over the physical world. They are the forerunners of the medical profession. They have always had a very good grasp on the medicinal value of herbs and plants.
There are people that believe they are vampires and drink blood - yes it is human. There is an entire sub-culture of these folks, but most of them consensually drink blood from other members of their group. They don't go around grabbing strangers and biting their necks if that is what you are picturing.

Not all Witches are Wiccans - there are other belief systems and individuals out there who practice magic and could be considered "witches" who most definitely are not Wiccan.

Some believe that not all Wiccans are Witches - they do not do spellwork or magic, rather their religion is focused on honoring the God and Goddess. To me this is a trickier argument, because the nature of some of the Rituals is inherently magical. Just my $0.02.

To answer the original question, yes there really are Witches. And there are people who drink blood with the belief that they are Vampires in the literal sense.

Witches are Pagan. A Wiccan can be a witch if they cast spells (not all of us do). I, for one, am a witch.

Yes, there are people out there who think they're vampires and drink human blood. Google it. I've actually seen tv specials on it.

Witches are covered by many names, from Wicca to Voodoo to Santeria to Shaman and Tianic.Witches use Magics or Spiritual energies to accomplish some task. there are also those that are considered " Wise women " this goes back centuries. Apothecary, (herbal medicine) Spiritual healing, (faith healing) Damning, (curses and possessions) all fall under the "Practice" of Witchery.
Vampires do exist in many places. Not the "Dracula" sort, but more the blood drinking cultist. Though it has been theorized that there are "Spiritual Vampires" who drain the spirit of people close by to energize themselves. Case in point. My ex-wife.

Yes, many Pagans (Wiccans included) are witches, but not all are.

There are people who believe they are vampires, and many of them actually are. Many people drink blood as part of the lifestyle, while others (sanguinarians) need it for the energy. There are also psychic vampires who feed on the psychic energy of those around them.
