I've got the same problem. What I do is I send my friends Christmas cards with my name only. Unless my mother knows them then I put her and my name on the card. I put both our names on the family cards unless it's my father and his family then it just my name.

Yes, include your Moms name when sending to FRIENDS OF THE FAMILY only, and better yet, let her add a comment to those cards and sign her own name - it's far more personal that way. Then handle your personal friends' cards (and the like) on your own - and you probably don't want to even put full names on the envelope return address portion. I feel more comfortable just using my initials and my address. Geez- there's enough easy/free floating personal information out there already! Nice that you're sending holiday cards AND thinkin' of your Mother! Awwww...Have a Happy One!

When you send cards to your friends, use only your name. When sending to family members, it depends on if your mother is sending cards too! Ask your mom! Together you could send cards to the family. You will save on postage and the expense of buy too many cards.

Does your mother send cards out to relatives? If she does then don't add her name to yours. If she doesn't ask her if she would like you to include her name on the relatives cards. As for friends only sign your name to those cards.

I sent to family members you are not living at home anymore. I don't send as much as I use to. Also I am more inclined to send emails now to close friends or ones living near by. I also pick up the phone as well.

Well, if you want you could always just write The ____ Family instead of all of your names.

To your friends who don't know your mom really well: write your name only
To your friends who are also friends with your mom: write both your names
To family friends: write both your names
