While I think that Kaitlyn is a girls name, others may think the opposite. I have seen guys with the name Ashley, Verona, and Michy which are all female names. I guess it depends on what you like.

I would say it was a girls a name... but there are lots of diffrent names out there prob just most parents don't want to name there son kaitlyn b/c it's a popular girls name like I had a snowboarding instructor and his name was courtney? My name is Taylor and that is a boys name too.

yes they can if there mother wants them to have a girl name or can not think of any more boy name so she just says "i will name him kaitlyn."

Any one can have any name chosen by parents, guardians or self. He/she can be called Catfaced Hemofage IV if he wants to be so named. Many men are named shirley, marion, hazel, darryl, jean, deanne, francis/francess, gayle, kay lee, ollie, pat, rhea, sandy, tommy, verne, willie, zog. and sometimes 6969.

i've heard of feminine names for a male why would any parent do a thing so obviously feminine.... try a non gender specific name (dakota is one)
