Depends on where they are. In your house or other structure get a professional exterminator.

If they are in landscape ties, fence posts, old stumps, etc. you can go to a good L&G center and get Bonide Carpenter Ant and Termite Killer. Comes in a liquid concentrate or dust, depending on what will work best for you. If they don't carry Bonide products they will have something similar. Ask the tech.

Call a professional exterminator. They are hard to get rid of and can ruin your home quickly.
