So here's the deal. My last full period was September 11th. I had a light cycle on October 3rd, but it consisted only of light bleeding (barely needed a pad or anything) and no tissue-like discharge. My cycle is always very regular. Since it's now mid-November and I still haven't gotten it, I've taken a few HPT and am getting conflicting results. I've had one positive (thurs) and three negatives. I've got an appointment with the MD tomorrow, but I'm wondering what the chances are that I'm actually pregnant. I've been feeling exhausted, moody, crampy and have had a little nausea and breast-tenderness. I'm just so confused at this point :|

Trust the positive , you rarely get a false pos, it is commom to get a false neg. But have you doctor confirm. Best of Luck!

That depends. If you got the three negatives FIRST, then a positive, chances are ... you're pregnant. But, if you got the positive first, followed by three negatives ... you may have been pregnant and the fetus died.

Make sure you bring all of this to the attention of you OB/GYN ... as there could be other complications. An ovarian cyst can sometimes secrete a pregnancy hormone ... and cysts are nothing to make light of. They could lead to sterility. I hope everything works out for you ....

Go with the positive. I had two negatives too before I got a positive which was so faint I could barely even see it. Waited a couple of days and got a darker positive. You very rarely get a false positive. Hope you get the result your looking for. Good luck :)

i recognize maximum of them say they're extra acurate first ingredient contained in the morning. i might want to attempt again the following day morning, no matter if that is valuable, even no matter if that is a faint line, i might want to assert to call your OB and get a blood try. From what I have heard, that is uncommon to get a pretend valuable on an hpt, pretend negatives are extra difficulty-loose (my very last 2 pregnancies I had pretend negatives first)

The test measures something only found in your urine when you are pregnant. The false neg can be if there was not enough to detect. A false postivie -- not going to happen.

it is more common to get a false negative than a false positive, so you very well could be pregnant...

if i had to guess i would say yes.
but make sure you talk to your doctor.
