Can we make 2006 a turning point in everyones life and strive for peace and understanding amongst men?.

One would hope so but we have been celebrating this day for nearly 88 years and nothing has come but more turmoil. I would love for such a monumental day to help cure this many voice world we live in. Unfortunately it will not. All we can do is be thankful to these people who died and fought for us and remember that when things seem hard for us they were soooooooo much harder for them.

I try very hard to spread peace, acceptance and understanding through out all of my days. It is not an instant fix for others but over time we can make a difference.
I suggest we all become accountable for how we are to others and how we want to be treated.
We also have a much harder job because we cannot convert all of the "evil doers" (as GWBUSH) has worked to hard to make so many enemies and breed so much hate amongst the world.
However we can make a difference in our own little worlds in which we live, and it is our obligation to do so.
Thank You for today's remembrance to be kind loving and spread peace and understanding.
As my minister says after every service;
Go in Peace
Believe in Peace
Create Peace
Reflect on the meaning and outcome .............so beautiful.... so powerful ....and if we follow those three phrases we will have .............PEACE!

I'm all for peace amongst men and women its just a pity that that there are some that are hell bent on destroying it.

Peace is a noble goal. Understanding is the way to peace.
Unfortunately, it's easier to destroy peace than it is to build it.

I'm up for that but its going to be a very steep uphill struggle. Seems its easier to cause damage than build bridges.
