Love is the only healthy foundation for happiness in any relationship, not lust based on superficial stimuli. So no, I don't think it's a good idea.

You mean porno movies? I remember taking a girlfriend to see one once. We were the only couple to climb out of the car and sit on the fenders to get a better view. Everybody else was sunk kind of low in their car seats. My GF said that probably they were married people out with someone ELSE and therefore didn't want to be seen. But, as far as I can tell, the porno movies don't affect a relationship one way or the other. A few of them are good for some laughs though.

I agree with others who've mentioned working at it and other techniques, esp. couples counseling. But I'd add that in many cases, watching "blue" (porno) movies could HURT relationships! The woman might feel homely if she doesn't look as "hot" as the women in the film and they man might feel inadequate if his size or performance or "buffness" is less than the guys in the film!
IMO, couples should work on creating their OWN "blue" sexual situations, whether filmed or not.

In and by themselves (that is movies) no.
Couples have to talk with each other and understand each other and respect each other.
Even so, there will be periods of challenges, and that requires the need to work through (whatever it is) without blaming each other. The couple are alone and dependant on each other. No friends and no family should come between them.

Movies cannot save relationships...only each person putting in 100% towards it will allow it to succeed. It doesn't always work, but if you love each other...it's a risk worth taking. Give it your all.

No, you can use it as a lame excuse to watch bad movies. But it doesn't help in the real world.
