I've been living in FL for about 7 years now. I live in Palm Coast about 30 minutes north of Daytona. Clean and quiet here. You can buy a new 1400 Living square foot house for 165,000. Very nice area. I moved down from Long Island and will NEVER go back. The whether is always nice. Wearing shorts and tank top right now. Florida is the place to be young and old.

I live in Florida (Tampa Bay area)
Mine is apparently the town old people move to when they sense it is their time to die (hey, is that a giant car doing 40 in the fast lane with the blinker on?)
Orlando is not too bad, except that it is way Disney-fied.... massive tourist trap.

Hardly anybody actually lives in this state - very transient population in general. That is not to say, however, that there is no demand for housing, I guess - Every empty lot around here is being graded and a slab poured.... I swear, they'll build a house in a week down here.

Wish I knew what you were actually asking - I could give you a better answer

My wife and I and two other families went to Florida for a holiday and thought it was very good.
You can eat out a lot as it does not cost much to do so, and there is always something to do for the adults and children.
It is a great place to have a holiday!
