Hello Everyone,

A while back I had some malware (some W32 something or other) and I got rid of it, THANKS TO PEOPLE HERE ON ANSWERS! and durring that time Mom was tricked into downloading SystemDoctor2006, I took it off of the computer but it is still putting Spyware on my computer, is there any way to check if there are left overs, if you will, of that program?

Im sorry, I meant to add, I use Spybot S&D that is how I know I still have files, they arent bothering the computer, I was just wondering if I can get rid of them or if scans are my best bet.

I would suggest downloading the program ad aware and letting it run once in awhile. You can find it www.lavasoft.com, I use it myself and it does a really good job. If it doesn't help, you can also try using spybot.

Try this out, click Start>Run then type in regedit click go (or ok) then go to software and find it, highlight it and remove/delete. Check under Current_User and Local_Machine for it. After you're done reboot the machine, it should be gone. There have been a number of problems I have read about on-line about this program.

Whenever there is a problem program, do a search on-line and read through all the forums that come up. They'll mostly show you the same thing to do with it like this one.

Download this program and scan your computer.

For other good, free and recommended security programs, please go here

I recommend AVG anti spyware (formerly Ewido) and SpywareBlaster for your continung spyware program.

If you click on the names in that list I gave you and it will take you to the official download site.

Please ensure that you keep them all updated for full protection and check for any updates when you first download them. It is important that you regularly check for updates and to do scans.
