So I came here first. We want to upload music, can we upload it from itunes or do we have to install some kind of software. We want to upload pictures, once again can we use itunes or do we have to go to the my picutres thingy. Please help because we are clueless. I am going to try all of the answers (you give me) and than whose ever is the best, will get 10 points!

Hi Right Back To You!
Now, If You Want To Put Music, Pictures, And Even Movies And Game Demos, One Of The Biggest Things You Will Want To Shop For Is A USB A To B Cord (1).

If You Go To Some Video Game Stores Or Places That Sell Video Games, Like EB Games Or Best Buy, You Might Find A USB A /B Cable Along With A Software Disk. Truth Is That You Do Not Need Any Software To Transfer Files To The PSP..

All You Need Is To Plug Your PSP In To Your Computer Via USB Cable (a goes to computer, b goes to psp), Then Put Your PSP To USB Mode By Going To The 'Settings' Category On The PSP Home Menu And Select USB Connection.

Then, Go To 'My Computer' And There Should Be A New 'Drive' On There. Click It And Look For The Appropriate Folder (for example, pictures go in the pictures file, if you didn't update your psp yet, you will need to click the 'psp' folder and look for 'photo')..
Then, In The Case Of Photos, Drag Your Images From Your 'My Photos' Folder (or where ever your photos may be) To The PSP's Picture Folder.
(tip: if you want to be more organized, make a folder for specific groups, then put your images or such in that folder. when you access it on your psp, it will show as a group)

And Unless You Put Your File On The Appropriate Folder They Will Be Available To Access On The PSP!
note that depending on your psp's memory stick, you will save only so much for that memory stick. like if your memory stick is less than 1 gig, it will not save as much as one with 2 gig.

You should buy Media Manager at GameStop. IT's a really easy-to-use drag and drop program to upload things to your PSP.
