im getting a ds for christmas and idk if a ds light is better than ds.

The DS lite is smaller, the microphone is more centered, there is a bigger stylus, and the screen has 4 brightness settings. I think the DS is more comfortable, because the lite has sort of square sides, which hurt my palms the more I play. The lite is really glossy, like an iPod, so it gets alot of fingerprints...the regular DS doesn't.

the ds light just come in different colors and is lighter than the ds and have a brighter screen

me and my sister have the ds and it is not so bad but I love pink and bright light so i think the ds light is better.

nintendo ds lite. runs longer, more portable and better lighting for palying in the dark.

the ds light is, it is slightly smaller and has a slightly brighter screen, but for the extra money i dont think its really worth it
