80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

What is Life presents conceptual thinking in biology. While many current issues in biology are based on simple ideas, the elucidation of biological mechanisms that explain diverse aspects of life is challenging because cells and organisms are complex systems. To understand how biologists study the structure and function of living organisms one has to understand the relationship between experiment and theory. Such an understanding amounts to scientific literacy.

Life is to come out from the unconsciousness of the matter, into becoming conscious in a materialistic world, and then go back to the unconsciousness of the matter. It is given to individuals from vegetal and animal reigns during a period of time on planet Earth. Mineral world has its own existence, and is much much bigger than our tiny world, as its matter can evolve and change under circumstances of universe evolution.
there would be no existence without our senses. Existence is a human perception of the matter. If we did not exist, matter would have not existed as such, but maybe only on its own, with nobody to know about it.

The act of 'being' in a period of time that is completed by death. The act of 'being' however is distorted and blurred by the act of 'having' in today's social twisted folk. Consequently society and its subordinates don't persue their real aim of 'being' but are forced by mass media and propaganda-spreading so-called governments to the act of 'having' which is therefore a self-destructive act and will result in the implosion of mankind.

Live life.

Life, like a marble block, is given to all,
A blank, inchoate mass of years and days,
Whence one with ardent chisel swift essays
Some shape of strength or symmetry to call;
One shatters it in bits to mend a wall;
One in a craftier hand the chisel lays,
And one, to wake the mirth in Lesbia's gaze,
Carves it apace in toys fantastical.

But least is he who, with enchanted eyes
Filled with high visions of fair shapes to be,
Muses which god he shall immortalize
In the proud Parian's perpetuity,
Till twilight warns him from the punctual skies
That the night cometh wherein none shall see..
