Most men, not all, but most men thrive on competition, it is a survival tactic, Better than, Stronger than, Faster than. On a hind brain level men seek to prove that they are better leaders and thus better mating material than all the others.
It used to be that we men understood this about ourselves.

i think the way men are created or built or their physique really matters, they have more muscles , therefore being more robust and tensed and all ways ready to spring into action.
