1. Your question is bad. Latin was the language of the Romans. I presume you mean Romans.

2. Have a look at the history of Malta and you will see that it has been invaded and occupied so many times, that the people are just a mixture of many races.

3. The only thing that links them to the Romans is that their language, Maltese, is Latin-based. But then so is Italian ... oh, and Spanish .... and Portuguese ..... French too ...... even Romanian.
