I've seen the occassional episode of America's Next Top Model and I guess they're up to like six or seven series now. Not living in the US though I don't know how the winners get on. Are they really top models like a Tyra or a Naomi or are they fifteen-minuters from reality tv?

(did someone not say about the show that it's pointless and the only true topmodel these days is Gemma Ward?)

Good question, I've seen Yolanda presenting a fashion programme. Also Eva was in the 1 episode of the TV show Kevin Hill, and I saw Ya-ya in an episode of that comedy Eve, but apart from that none of them are top models so to speak. Also the winner of the first top model Adrian, she had her own reality TV show, I think it was to do with her engagement to one of the guys that used to be in that 60's show - The Brady Brunch i think it was called 'My Fair Brady'

First off, if they go on the show and afterwards sit on their butts and wait to get calls, their gonna be waiting for a long time. You have to make your future and some of the girls do just that while others think they are already famous and sit there waiting for something to fall in their laps. The ones that are actually out there are making it. And unless you are neck deep into the fashion world your not going to notice. Many of them do fashion shows (NY fashion show a coupld months back), some I have seen to print ads, some are in movies, funny no one mentioned Ya Ya in Take the Lead. If anyone noticed, no one knew who Andrian was until she got off her butt and made herself be known.
You can go on TV, have ur 15 mintues and be done with it or you can have your 15 minutes and run with it.

I have seen Eva in some television shows and magazines and I know she was a guest host for some show on BET. But the rest of them I have not seen. I do like the winner last season though so I hope she makes it.

The only one I've known to go on to anything significant is Yoanna House; she took over from Elisabeth Hasselbeck hosting The Look for Less. Adrienne Curry went on to My Fair Brady. Who knows what came of Eva Pigford, but you can bet it's nothing she wants to speak about.

now this just reinforces my opinion of this show! what's the point in makin a tv show about the next top model wen ur just not goin 2 hear about them afterwards cos they're models and models aren't in the news that often (exculding certain ppl, i mention no name!). it's just another way of gettin more money for somehtin completely pointless!

No, none of them are supermodels, nor famous top models, but most of them are in agencies like Ford and IMG, even the ones who hadn't won.
