You should ask a Chevrolet service department. My guess is that even the Chevrolet mechanics don't use a torque wrench, but just does it by feel and experience. I, personally, have never used a torque wrench and have had NO problems. The key is to snub them town tightly. Don't try to twist them off or strip the threads, but nice and tight. Good luck. Pops

Pops is right...just snug them down if you try to tighten them too far you will never get them back out.
