If it's a real diamond made in a lab, and not one of the other synthetics that are diamond-like, then you can buy a flawless stone, D color and F clarity. They are cheaper per carat then a mined diamond, but just as beautiful. And, of course, the cut would depend on the maker, but you could still get an Ideal cut in whatever shape of your choice. And since they are still diamonds, i.e. carbon compounds, they are the same stone that comes out of the earth.
I love the pieces I own, and no one can tell the difference, not even my jeweler, when they see me wearing something. I can afford to have the beauty of near-perfect diamonds without the price. My favorite piece is my tennis bracelet. I found this gorgeous bracelet for $300, and had to have it appraised. My jeweler told me that if they were natural diamonds with the same grading, the bracelet would be worth around $20,000. He honestly was surprised that it was not natural, he thought it was before that.
And with all the controversy over blood diamonds, and the celebrities boycotting them, lab diamonds are becoming more popular. They are an accepted form of diamonds without the guilt or cost. The only real defect is that they aren't worth as much. But if all you want is to build your own collection of jewelry to wear, then I wouldn't worry about that. It's only a drawback if you wanted to sell (or re-sell) the jewelry.

that is not destructive or snobby, yet once you adult males are a sprint strapped for money, that is not surprisingly intelligent to purchase a genuine one good now. i assume i may appear a sprint snobby through fact my fiance offered me a Moissanite Diamond, that is a guy made stone, yet truthfully, interestingly and looks like a genuine diamond. They even sell it at Kay Jewelers and different mainstream rings shops. i've got shown my ring to distinctive different women human beings, alongside with my buddy who's a jeweler, and no person has ever guessed that is not a genuine diamond. they don't ask, i don't tell! the better section is my ring is 1ct and in basic terms expenses $800.00 Plus i will improve it later. My mom has a genuine 1ct diamond that she have been given from Kay's, yet while we positioned our hands next to a minimum of one yet another and look at our rings, mine truthfully glints greater beneficial than hers which she hates. lol

Do you know what the latest craze in man made diamonds is? They are taking the cremated remains of people and making them into diamonds. That's right, you can wear grandma on your ring or grandpa on your cuff-links. Cremated remains is mostly carbon, so they have developed a way to create diamonds by intense pressure. Like superman used to do when he would crush coal in his hands.
However, it is very expensive.
