They're each unique, and it takes time to understand someone. The advantage of dating (beside having fun) is to get to know what the other person is all about, what makes them tick. Sometimes a person says they think, believe one thing, but their behavior is way different than that - so it takes time and effort to figure out who someone really is. After that, you'll be in the best position to determine what will keep the guy content and happy.
Still, it's not as much up to you as it is the guy, I believe. It has to be in his personality and character to be ABLE to be happy, content, and loving. Ya' sure can't beat (or coerce, or beg, or plead, or wish) it outta' him.
Be your wonderful self and see who honors you and treats you right.
What does it take (from a guy) to 'make' YOU happy, content, loving'?

Every man's different so you need to come out and ask him. I always want more so I will probably never be content but I'm happy and loving. ( atleast I think so )

same thing it takes to make a woman happy, content and loving. ....Honesty, faithfullness, caring, humor, patience, physicall closeness (that includes sex). Learn to listen. be cooperative. talk about issues you disagree on. Help him like he is your best friend, and he will become so, and he will do the same for you. If he can't be the same things I've listed, dump him, as he is an immuture bum.

That's easy. A loving and understanding girlfriend like the one that I"m happily engaged to. She fills my life with so much happiness and so much joy. She's a very, very special lady and I'm the luckiest man in the world to have her love.
And I'm so very much in love with her too.

The only thing you can MAKE a man do is take out the trash and some can't even seem to do that. Sounds like he isn't those things you want with you, so go find someone who is.

A willing woman who will have sex with him when he wants it and wont use sex as a weapon. Unfortunately there are very few of these woman around. The others arent reading these posts and following the suggestions.
