I guarantee there are ghosts. I have seen one. It was the most evil thing one could possibly imagine. It visited me over the course of about 60 days. Showing up about 20 times during that period.
IT WAS NO FIGMENT of my imagination. It showed up each time at 12:04 according to my radio clock. It never said anything or approached me but just hung there by my doorway.
I tried to mentally ask it questions--as I was too afraid of moving or talking. It never answered my questions but did seem to shake it's head--but not with my questions.
I know it's hard to believe and most people will scoff but it was as real as real can be.

yes, there is such thing as ghosts. mediums and mediators are real too. i have seen a lot of ghosts. i live in salem, ma, where most of this stuff happens. i used to live in a haunted house, but i moved because the ghost asked me too, and i wanted to respect it. if you dont believe, thats fine. but its funner to believe anyway!

A quick (true)story:

My cousin owns an apartment in a building in Italy originally built by the De Medici family. She and many others continuously saw the image of man "reflected" in black ceramic tiles on the wall adjacent to the bathroom. A few years ago, construction was done directly underneath that wall one floor below. A skeleton was found there, True story. Explanation? Who knows?

Some religion have specific cerimonies, to get reed of evil spirits.

The bible supports the idea of ghosts (physically, but not spiritually dead people).

Saul successfully spoke to the prophet Samuel after he died.

Elijah and Moses appeared to Jesus. (Although Elijah never actually died, and it's debatable whether Moses' body remained on earth).

One of the gospels states that after the crucifixion of Jesus, people who had died previously were sighted in the city (but these may have been bodily resurrections).

In Acts, when Peter escaped from prison, his friends thought it was his ghost.

I would say that the living and the dead are connected through the Holy Spirit. In that case it would be possible to sense their presence, thoughts, and perhaps even their voices. There have been many instances in history when people felt that recently deceased relatives had spoken to them spiritually...even when they did not know they had died.

I am not afraid of ghosts, but I couldn't say for sure that everyone who has died has wise and pure advice.

Be careful, and pray...remember to seek God and his goodness.

why people get so frightened by the idea of ghosts is puzzling,since if there are ghosts they were once actual people and I don't find the idea of seeing my mother's ghost at all frightening since she was not frightening in life. I personally had some strange experiences right after my mom passed away that I find hard to explain, I believe she was communicating with me and sending me messages.

Any account is pure fantasy. No such thing has ever been recorded or tested by any credible scientist.

In earlier periods it was believed that ghosts are there and if any person caught disease it was blamed only to ghosts.
But in this global age people dont beleive this ghost and all.
But the opinion remains divided.This is not not proved strongly that ghosts are present or not.
In my opinion ghosts are present in our minds. People are scared of dark places , etc. This is all unbelievable.
If you are scared of ghosts / bhoots and all so please dont see scary programs.
