AOA
It is very common for young ladies to start their mensis as early as 9 years of age (in some rare cases it could be even earlier). There is nothing to worry about. But it is important to explain to her how to manage herself during mensis (proper hygiene)because it can be very embarrassing and shameful at that age, especially when she is around others in school. She was probably shocked and afraid of it in the beginning but with time she will understand her body more as well as her friends may also have experienced this and that will help her to adjust to the changes. She should be fine, inshallah.
PS None of this has to do with diet and eating! It is a natural process and some develop earlier than others in adolesence.

If you're asking if her having her period at age 11 is normal..yes it is. I'm 11 & i started my period when i was 10. Perfectly normal. Stop worrying & relax. Your daughter has started at a PERFECT time. =)

yes it is normal...when I first read your question I thought you asked if it is normal for her to have her period at 6 or 7 months of age...in that case...nooooooooo...but it is normal to start a period at 10...11....sometimes even 9. If you are concerned about this take her to see her pediatrician.

yep well the average age is 13 years old so that means half of the people must start before 13, so 11 is fine. i know people who started when they were 9 so don't worry!

11 is on the young end, sure, but it's entirely normal. Be extra supportive to her... it may be emotionally hard on her to have her periods when her girlfriends haven't started yet.
