ok my friends and i want to know why people hate marilyn manson . but we just love him to death .

i don't think people hate i think people just judge him beforehand. i've heard his music, and it's not my taste (i perfer the beatles, u2, the killers, queen, etc) but musically, he's not that bad. i think most people who perfer more mainstream stuff simply don't like the image that manson portrays. the "hate" is probably most attributed to his looks. and then of course there are people who don't accept/like the fact that he is into more satanic, occult stuff. but what are you gonna do right? tomato, tamatoe.

He is just the new and improved Alice Cooper, both men are highly intelligent. The Christians must have some visual Representative of the devil.

I think most people are freaked out by his looks. Back in the 70's we had Alice Cooper & a lot of people didn't dig him either.

I don't have a problem with him at all, he is very intelligent guy. I like some of his music.People who don't like him are probably just scared of him because of the way he is. I think he is pretty cool!

I don't hate Marilyn! I think he's uber cool. As to why others of less discernment might hate him-- possibly because he's really strange?
