Relax
Your kid did the right thing - so you should be relieved that she knows not to pop pills - just keep half an eye on her for the next hour or two and then get on with your life
If you really want identification of it, it might be useful to know more about it - is it a capsule or a tablet, what colour is it, what diameter etc etc.
BTW - how do you know the difference between E and 'proper pills'?
Christina D's link suggests this might be Acamprosate delayed-release tablets:
http://www.muschealth.com/cds/CPDrugIdentifier.results.info.aspx?cpnum=2097
ACAMPROSATE (CAMPRAL®) helps you to abstain from alcohol as part of a support program. It does not help with alcohol withdrawal. Generic tablets are not available.
Don't worry too much about the long list of side effects or keep away from children stuff - that's common to all drugs and just covers the pharmaceutical company's back. It doesn't look like there's anything seriously dangerous in this incident.
You probably have half a dozen more dangerous substances already in your home in the form of cleaning products etc.

Question is if it is on your doorstep who's is it? Who would inadverdantly drop something there? If it was something seriously needed someone wouldnt just drop it. Sounds like the girls found it, were curious as pills are a grown up thing and bought it home to just play with them. But therin lies the danger... you need to talk to them about the danger of such things. Dont make a huge deal....... that makes kids curious. Odds are it is nothing just reinforce that these things are scary.

It is impossible to tell without you mentioning the color and shape.
Go to the website www.drugs.com and click on "pill identifier". On the pill identifier there is a place to add the numbers, color, etc. There are tons of pictures so it should be easy to figure out. Good luck!
If you don't see if you can call your pharmacy and they may be able to identify.
Great kids!!!

The 333 could be 333mg; the dosage contained inside the pill
you need the shape, colour and size to identify it fully.
If you suspect it is a pharmecutical (and not a street drug) then why not just get rid of it?

Ask a chemist to be sure, if it is just a simple medicine that some one lost then it will put your mind at rest if nothing else.

I would definetly take it to the chemist explain the situation and ask them what they think it is. That's probably the best thing to do. But if you dont want to know, then just bin it and sweep your door step incase their is anymore.....

Go to this site.

Type in the description of the pill and it should give you an idea of what it is. Good luck!

I don't see what the problem is. Whatever this is, no one has been hurt by all accounts. Flush it down thye loo and forget it. I can't see any pharmacist being the remotest bit interested in it.
